are you ready....

heh sorry people, i havent really written a decent entry in a while. im still relatively young in my age group unlike a few guys i know, nor do i have hot girls in my classes (or i dont really look around....) and i really dont have much to say....

but...i can say this so far, everyday has been a blessing being able to hang out with the guys and continuing to getting to know them better, i guess sometimes i see them too much...haha but its alright, we learn to put the petty things aside and enjoy each others company as we always did.

our first UT football game is today!!! we're going to phils room cuz he has our shirts we bought yesterday...i made lex buy one cuz everyone wears burnt orange to the games. as andrew lee describes it, its a massive sea of burnt orange...haha

oh...i saw nancy and stephanie from aggieland yesterday, they came to visit. daaaang i havent seen them in SO long! (you see sam....you shouldnt have left, i would have introduced you to them!...but you probably know them already....) its good to see old friends...

so hows college life?

since so many of you ask...

college is pretty normal for me since ive been here all summer. i've met so many people that i cannot even remember all their names. the number of people here is amazing...there's just SO many people. the pastor at ACC has started a series of talks about imagination with a vision. it's really interesting and i'm drawn towards ACC because of pastor Gideon. their worship style is like concert style, so it sorta makes me feel uncomfortable, i can't hear myself when we sing. it kinda makes me feel uncomfortable, but it's new so im trying to take it as something new and not to compare it with our church back at home. alex, phil and i are going to our first UT football game tomorrow! i'm really excited because i've never been to a football game, not to mention a school with tremendous school spirit.

i really miss authentic chinese food. maaan, now i realize how much i took my mom's cooking for granted. the really cool thing is whenever i go back, my mom cooks for me, and she tries to fit me into her schedule even though i know she's extremely busy with all the stuff she does.

i was hoping i could stay for the first FOCUS worship last sunday, but timmy (who was annies ride) didn't have enough spots on the car, so i decided to let annie stay and i rode back to austin with brian.

as far as living with lex is going...we're getting along really well. it feels almost like a very long sleepover at his or my house. usually, we're both sitting at our computers and playing or just talking to people. lex has a blue light on his computer that he cant shut off so it always blinds me when im trying to sleep because its so bright. but now he covers it up with a book or something. xiao and i go running every mon/wed/fri, we run for 3 miles at the track at gregory, and we definitely go to the gym plenty.

classes arent very difficult. im taking basic courses for any major since im still undeclared. alot of the student i talk to tell me that it's ok to be undeclared right now. however, most adults, inculding my mom and my aunt from colorado tell me that finding what i want to do should be around the top of my priority list. but i still havent decided.

what time is your bedtime....

ive learned that coming to college, there is no such thing as a bedtime....i finally learned to fall asleep anytime of the day. mainly because i didnt get enough sleep the previous night. lotsa ppl have been telling me to make sure i get enough sleep and whatever...but its so hard...theres so much to do...and on top of the many ppl to talk to or the junk that the guys do...we get loads and loads of hw...for example, today i actually sat down and finished all my hw within a 3 hour period...and i didnt take any breaks...and i still havent finished all the reading thats due on monday.

on a different note, the first S.T.U.B.S. meeting was yesterday. since i already know timmy, i dont have to talk too much about him, hes really cool as usual. as for my other small group leader..sam mar? well...hes got some strange emails and hes a really funny guy. they bought us a bunch of junk food hoping i will get fat so i enjoyed the food and ate as much as i could, mark chu, simon, steven tu and josh winata(but he didnt show up) anyways this is gonna be a very awesome year.

dont worry, i still miss all you guys back in sugarland. ill come visit soon =)

i cut myself shaving....

the question most people will ask me next is.. "shaving what?"

and i must say, its true that i dont grow much hair on my face, but they say that if you keep on shaving, itll grow back thicker....... *shrugs* oh well cuts that you get from shaving are the worst cuz the blades are really small and really sharp, so its like giving yourself a paper cut. anyways i also gave myself a haircut today...and NO i didnt shave all my hair off, ive actually been cutting my hair for a while now...im too scared to cut the top of my head tho, so ill leave that for my mom to do when i go home or something... anyways uneventful day, tomorrow is gonna be hectic.

ive been reading the book of joshua, and man, he is a KICK-BUTT guy! if anyone would be able to fill Moses' shoes, it was definitely Joshua...i love reading all the stories in the Old Testament.

oh...i got Timmy Chui and Sam Mar as my small group leader... haha this is gonna be an interesting year!

who is this King of Glory?

ever since bth took me back from houston, ive been on a Third Day craze... Mac Powell has one of the most God given talented voice ive EVER heard in my life. ive been listening to their music so much now...its so great! dont get me wrong tho...Shane and Shane are still my favorite artists. guitaring is so fun, i think im gonna have to teach peter and lex how to play, and xiao too...oh well i think phil will help me out... anyways yea, i even changed my desktop picture from Naruto to Third Day...they have cool wallpapers on their site

if you play at greg, you gotta suck it up big time....

i guess i learn things the hard way...yesterday i got kicked really hard in the shin while trying to defend someone... the guys at greg are tough man...they bump you, grab you, do whatever...now my shin is all black and blue... its ok, i think im going back to greg soon to ball some more or lift. =)

i went home this weekend for a day....

i also saw bea working at....that place... its called...uhh...............ITS A GRIND!! or something like that? well it was really cool seeing bea again today! i miss her cheerful attitude...makes me sad leaving her back at home... =( its ok shes coming up during the spring!!!

going home for one day...i can say this with confidence.
