My Tribute to Victor Onadiji

i havent been checking up on my buddy, victor's blog. and today i was just curious and bored cuz im waiting for phil to come back so we can sc, so i decided to check it out. wow i didnt know he updated so much! well the blog has improved much and i enjoyed reading it and catching up on thing that have been going on thruout his life. anyways i met victor back in...7th grade i believe. i didnt know him in 6th grade...actually the only ppl i knew (that i can remember) at school was robert ho and stephen mao...anyways i heard about victor because of orchestra, the people around me kept telling me that victor was really good at cello and that he would be moving up to honors really fast. turns out, they were correct. i learned throughout getting to know victor that he is an excellent musician and i admire him alot. just getting to know victor has been a blessing in my life because hes such a kind, gentle and just a super awesome guy. he treats ppl with respect and people respect him, (except a few NHS sponsors who are trying to rule the world and make everyone in NHS lives a living hell) but other than that, everyone basically likes victor. victor has this awesome side of him that noone really knows except the few elite who actually KNOW know him. its sarcastic, but its not to the point where you would consider him a sarcastic person. its witty and always comes out at the right time. victor is the type of person that you would never want to get mad. not because he will beat the crap out of you, (although i think he can) but just because you just dont want to. although his brother(s) might beg to differ....anyways victor and i have been friends for a long time, although we dont hang out much together, i do consider him a good friend because hes always ready to listen if youre in trouble or need help. although i havent been in alot of his classes because hes Honors/Gt and im struggling to stay in the lower 100s in my class, victor had helped me alot. i remember going to his house late one night just so he could help me out with my physics problems. today i got to see victors senior recital and it brought back many fond memories of highschool and i really really enjoyed it. i think its the best one ive seen so far. anyways i thought it was only fair if i gave victor a tribute since hes always been there for not only myself, but everyone who needed a friend. so this is to you my friend, thanks victor.

turns out...going to sleep earlier was a good idea...

last night i had really horrible dreams. i cant exactly remember them, i just remember that they were scary and bad, and ive learned that when i usually have bad dreams, it means im sick. i woke up 7 or 8 times last night because of the dreams, yet i couldnt stop dreaming about anything else. well around 6am i sit up and realize that its really really hot, even though i dont sleep with a shirt on, i was sweating like crazy. so i get up and go to my dads office which is right next to my room and i tell him im sick. turns out i have a 102 temperature. so i take some advil and go back to bed. at 8am my dad tells me im going to the doctors. well we end up waiting at the doctors for like forever cuz theyre freaking slow. turns out i got some early form of strepthroat. so yes...i missed school cuz im actually sick...the doctor told me not to go back to school until maybe monday...but im not risking my exemptions. so tomorrow just dont come too close. ^-^

today after violin lessons i was driving myself and my sister home. my violin teacher lives all the wayy in avalon...which is a 15 min drive (sorry for living so far away ophie) anyways we drive down elkins and past clements high school. there was some kinda event going on, cuz there were lotsa cars and stuff....*shrugs* anyways right where elkins meets sweetwater, the road splits into two lanes, the left lane where you can only turn left and the right lane where you can turn everywhere. anyways there were like 5 cars in the left lane and no cars in the right...so i go ahead and take the liberty of being the first person in the right lane, and as i approach the lane, the light turns green. "man, perfect timing!" i thought to myself. well i go ahead and turn, so now im going to sweetwater towards lexington. out of the corner of my eye i see 2 black dots fly off from a tree. obviously i dont think too much of it...until one of the two black dots flies straight for my car...and then *thud* i see the black dot bounce off my car and land in the left lane... i dunno why...but i started laughing... i knew i just killed a bird...but no bird would be that stupid...would it? hahaha anyways i was laughing and my sister asked me why. and i told her i killed a bird... her first reactiong was expected, "GUH!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!" well i told her i didnt do it on purpose...the bird was stupid cuz it flew into my car...freaking changed lanes without signaling and it was going the wrong way on a one way street. sheesh. not my fault. so anyways her next reaction was also expected, well from me at least "LETS GO BACK AND SEE IT!!!" so im like uhhh...no i have to go home and study psychology for my ap. haha so i end up killing a bird...and i havent studied for ap...i might as well just go to sleep cuz i wont remember any of it.

heres my account on how the day of prom went:

around 7 in the morning my mom wakes me up because she wants to know if i want to go to foleys cuz they have a sale on suits. well i tell her i dont need one...and plus i was in a grumpy mood because my mom woke me up so early... i ended going to sleep for another 2 hours. i woke up around 10 and called ophie because she was coming to pick me up for the "picnic" that they were planning. so ophie comes around 1045 and blindfolds us. i had phil's video camera so i ended up recording the whole trip to First Colony Mall. hehe well the girls bought us each tokens so we could play arcade games and then they treated us out to lunch. anyways they dropped us all off and the girls went to ophies house to get ready. anyways my mom and dad tell me to get ready at our house and not at alexs house so i wont be rushed...so i end up showering and changing at my own house...and i of course my dad wanted pics, but he only took one of me...ehh..anyways i go to phils house to pick him up...and then we go to alexs house and we find out that lex is the first person there. he got there before alex got back from josh's house (alex wanted to use hair spray and none of us had some, so he went to josh's house to get some) anyways most of the guys were late...and unlike phil said, we arrived at alexs house around 5 not 530. anyways we take buncha pics, which i will upload myself very soon...anyways everyone looks pimp, clean, throw, whatever you wanna say, but we looked GOOD, alex looked like a waiter, scott was protector of the forest, and everyone else looked GQ. anyways we leave around 630 to go get the girls, we arrive at ophies house and the girls are all freaking out for some reason...vivian and michelle told me that they were ready...they just couldnt decide who would be the first person to go downstairs... anyways they come down, and of course my date, mel, looked superhot! hehe well all the girls looked really pretty. so we end up leaving for vargos around 7-ish...and then peter gets into an accident trying to get on 59. we were still on the feeder and peter was in the middle of switching lanes when a idiot old white guy speeds up and runs into him. the old white guy gives peter, phil and even the girls attitude because he was just stupid...anyways the rest of us head off to vargos first to make the dinner reservations. we arrive at vargos right on time, and i find out there arent anymore self parking spaces...so i do the valet parking...heh anyways we went around the garden that they had and we took pictures, alot of them...we went around the garden and saw peacocks there..alex even went to jump the fence to chase one cuz he wanted to take a picture with a peacock.... it got really mucky and nasty oustide so we finally went in and sat down. the food was really expensive and didnt taste that great, but there was this really good pianist to provice music and phil and peter made requests on songs, i was gonna ask him to do the xmen theme song...but i didnt think he knew it... anyways the atmosphere of vargos was really good, some of the guys needed to get some of their gayness out (mainly alex) so several of them went to the bathroom...together... hehe well david walks out and tells us..."oh man...theyre being SO GAY in there" i see the food come out, cuz they got them on trays and stuff so i walk into the bathroom, and right when i open the door i hear this "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" and sure enough i open the men's bathroom and see alex yang...being gay...along with mok, simon, scott and xiao. haha well we eat, and we take too long. we arrived at vargos around 740, we didnt leave until 1045-ish...i did call my good friend Jared Stork and apologized a hundred times for not making his suprise birthday party. IM SORRY JARED! well we leave the prom. when we get there we took pics. took a while, but we finally got everyone in, and everyone dancing. lex was getting his groove on with melody. alex was....."dancing" i guess you could say that...he kinda made up some new dance moves...like his driving one...or his basketball one...hehe xiao was shakin his booty, phil was fishing with nick, simon...well haha he danced a bit...peter was definitely gettin his groove on, and i was learning the bunny hop...simple, but when i finally learned it, the song was over...haha so oh well i busted out with my verson of the c-walk and lawnmower, and shopping cart, (these are all from john lin) heh prom was a blast! even tho i was SO FULL i didnt eat anything there...they had SO MUCH FOOD! heh well we stay until prom is over, then we each grab one of the table decorations and we jet. on the way out, im following michael j and simon is following me. we get lost...so we drive on westheimer for like....20 min...when we finally reach west oaks mall, oh btw i was racing this integra. i wasnt even trying to race him...he like ruved his engine and stuff...but i burned him...i dunno how...but i did. i was even trying...honestly. you can ask xiao. anyways i go pick up the video that JPGs and scott made from stevens house and then we head off to alexs house. we watch the video and it was really good. SIMON was the funniest guy in the video. xiao was really funny too cuz of his sockpuppets...hehe well, the rest of the night consisted of...blitz, guitaring, putting phil and alexs hand in warm water to see if they would pee in their pants... beating annie in speed, TWICE and on camera! hehe oh mok getting his balls whacked really hard by phils head. uhhh the rest i cant remember....anyways on to the next day... mok myself and xiao didnt sleep, everyone else got 1 or 2 hours of sleep. we get ready at 7 and meet johnny and evan for breakfast. mok was totally falling asleep while we were waiting for the food at dennys. well we end up going to church at 830 and i get a 5 min power nap. sunday school was dead...all the guys were dead...heh and then we went to service where all of us were trying SO HARD not to fall asleep. phil dropped his cracker during communion...and david was gone....i dropped my watch like 50 times falling asleep...peter was gone...mrs. fong was flicking his ear, and peter didnt feel it...he was sleeping...anyways i ended up playing basketball after church...so dead...hehe anyways i sucked it up and went home around 330...showered and went to sleep at 4...i didnt wake up until 730...THIS MORNING, i got 15 hours of sleep...jeeze that was crazy hehe well ask me about prom...cuz its easier to tell instead of type...hehe and i can show you some of alex's dance moves!!!
